The Water of Life

Please come and join in for a unique opportunity in Rochester to enjoy two days of deep exploration of the Water of Life.

What is this Water? We know that drinking physical water quenches the thirst of the body. Similarly, the thirst of the subtle body is met by absorbing the celestial energy that flows through space, while the soul seeks to imbibe the pure substance of spirit, the Water of Life.

How can one experience this? Pir Zia encourages us to partake of this Water in its several dimensions through practices of meditation, discourse, zikr (remembrance), and prayer, following the clues left in the teachings of his grandfather, the Sufi teacher Hazrat Inayat Khan, who founded the organization in 1910 that became what is now known as the Inayati Order.

Date: Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, 2017, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: The Strong Museum of Play, One Manhattan Square, Rochester, New York
Cost: Sliding scale: $125-250 (limited work/study scholarships available)
Registration: Please register in advance by Friday, October 6, 2017 at: www.facebook.com/PirziaRochesterNY or www.inayatiorder.org or call 585-454-9399
