Enneagram Foundations Class
By
Susan Rupp and Amy Stratton-Smith

The Enneagram is a dynamic model for understanding personality structures and the complex interactions of human thought, feeling, and behavior. “Enneagram” takes its name from the symbolic nine-pointed figure within a circle, and explores nine different personality patterns that operate within the wholeness of our being. It combines insights from modern psychology with the wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions in a creative synthesis that transcends specific religious doctrine. The Enneagram is compatible with seekers of any background, and offers a powerful tool for individuals, couples, or small groups seeking growth in effectively navigating relationships and life’s journey.

This class will present the basic structure and dynamics of the Enneagram model. We will explore each of the nine personality types and various factors affecting their expression. Classes are designed for those who are new to the material or returning students seeking to deepen understanding. The course presents the Enneagram as a tool for developing increased self-awareness, flexibility, and compassion.
