In early 1949, thousands of people streamed to Herford, Westphalia in Germany. In the autumn of the same year, up to 30,000 people were drawn daily to the Traberhof-–a horse stud farm--in Rosenheim--miserable masses of sick and suffering people. They had only one aim: Bruno Groening. For many, he was their last hope. Beaten down by the war, given up by doctors, the people there had only one wish: to get well again, to be free from misery and pain. Could Bruno Groening help them? Then the unthinkable occurred--numerous sick people were healed-–the lame could walk and the blind could see again.
Horst H. from Witzenhausen reported: “The film really impressed us. I had been suffering from severe spastic bronchitis for more than thirty years, had coughing attacks, and was in danger of suffocating day and night. During the film, I had a severe coughing attack and had to leave the theater. Ten minutes later the attack was over. From that time on I have had no more symptoms.”
Mrs. A. from Bad Wildungen: “I saw the film last year. At first, I was worried about the length of the film and how long I would have to sit because I had been suffering from severe back pain for twenty-five years. After the film, I went home without any pain. And now I have been without pain for many months.”
The film, "The Phenomenon of Healing: On the Tracks of the 'Miracle Healer,'" depicts the dramatic events of that time and follows the tracks of an unusual man. This documentary is the result of nine years of thorough research; it brings the events of that time to our attention today, and enables us to understand his teaching. Healings are happening even today, as they did when Bruno Groening was alive. These healings are evidence of the truth of his simple teaching. People have even been healed from organic illnesses.

Due to extraordinary healings, Bruno Groening made headlines around the world in the 1950s. When he died in 1959, many believed that this phenomenon had ended. But on the contrary, people on all continents are still attaining the help and healing, thanks to the teaching of Bruno Groening.
In 1979, Grete Hausler founded the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. Even though initially there was only a handful of Friends, the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends has grown into one of the largest organizations worldwide for help and healing on the spiritual path. More than 13,000 voluntary helpers tirelessly assist.
Doctors and other healthcare professionals of the Medical Scientific Group (MWF) of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends give lectures worldwide, and upon request by many universities. In 2013 in New York, the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends was awarded a Peace Pole by the World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS), which is affiliated with the United Nations (UN).
The film, "The Phenomenon of Healing: The Worldwide Activities of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends," impressively documents events that happened after 1959. Viewers learn how the work of Bruno Groening developed after his passing, and of the great extent of help and healing on the spiritual path that is still happening today-–irrespective of religious affiliation, skin color, and culture. Fascinating interviews, professional comments by doctors and personal reports from Bruno Groening Circle of Friends from many countries, give a broad overview of this big Circle of Friends.
