Modern life is stressful and it is well documented that chronic stress leads to a variety of problems, from headaches to sleep difficulties to illness.
These groups are for those interested in learning:
- To reduce the impact of stress.
- To develop a sense of well-being in body, mind and spirit.
- To help the body, mind and spirit recover equilibrium.
- To learn and experience positive self-help techniques for living in a challenging world.
Benefits of this training:
- Didactic and experiential learning within a dynamic group setting.
- Group members learn about the effectiveness and applications of a range of mind-body techniques, including meditation, relaxation, guided imagery, biofeedback, artwork, movement, sound and breath, and more.
- Groups typically consist of 8 - 12 members who commit to attending all sessions, for a total of 20 hours. Sessions may be scheduled in a variety of formats. For instance, 2 hours, once a week for 10 weeks; weekend "retreat" formats; full and/or half day sessions for a determined period of time. Schedule formats can be worked out to suit the needs of a specific group.
- Groups may be structured heterogeneously, with a variety of participants attending for various reasons; custom designed to teach work groups to use mind-body-spirit techniques in their professional setting; or homogeneous groups with members who share a common issue.
- Group members are encouraged to learn and practice several techniques that they can integrate into their own lives for personal benefit, along with other methods that may be useful in other settings with clients, friends and family.
Individual and Group Experiences which may lead you to an understanding of how to integrate meaning and a sense of a higher purpose into everyday life.
These learning opportunities are designed for those with an interest in applying basic techniques of inner development and self-discovery to issues in daily life.
- The principles learned may be helpful in making lifestyle and routine changes, such as incorporating a daily meditation into one's schedule.
- These approaches are integrated into normal activities, such as eating, sleeping, parenting, driving, studying, walking… leading to greater quality of life in these busy, stressful times.
- Power comes from wholeness of body-mind-spirit so that throughout the day the person moves toward personal transformation and inner growth.
- We draw upon a range of teachings that have been given at various times and places all over the world to help those who wish to broaden their understanding of themselves in a non-denominational, non-sectarian setting.
- The orientation is spiritual but there is no dogma or creed. Spirituality is not "out there," to be found somewhere else, but rather is in the development of a person's potential in this life. All aspects of life move toward a sense of oneness of purpose.
- Amber Light workshops are designed to help move participants in the direction of integration and oneness.
- Workshops focus on an experiential process. Some are designed for a few hours, others as a series and some as full days or weekends.
- Programs can be designed to meet the particular needs of agencies and groups.

Individual Consultation
Individual consultation for personal transformation and spiritual growth (not medical or mental health treatment) is available with Henry and/or Kathleen. We are trained in various models of energy work to promote wellness and integration of the body-mind-spirit through connecting with the universal energy that pervades all, including within each individual.
Modalities include:
- The Raphaelite Work, spiritually oriented, non-religious individual consultation.
- Qigong Sessions, working with personal energy.
- Past Life Regression Sessions, opportunities to recall and integrate what appear to be memories or impressions from another time, which can lead to learning more about what is important now for one's own development and unfolding.
- Focused Consultation, an integration of meditative, relaxation, "hypnotic" and imagery techniques to explore what might help personal integration and development. One's particular spiritual or religious attunement can be most often integrated, with significant benefit.
All consultations, whether one-time or ongoing, are not medical or mental health treatments, although they may be informed by principles from those fields. These are not substitutes for traditional medical or mental health care, and there is no physician and/or therapist relationship, implied or explicit, in this work.
