public programs to foster and promote the integration of training in
mind-body-spirit work into everyday life.

Our programs are focused in three main areas: Mind-Body-Spirit Training
Groups; Workshops, Discussions and Forums; and Individual Consultations.
These programs have been implemented in various settings, including
schools, a day program for severely developmentally disabled persons and
health care services. Programs are nonsectarian, nondenominational and
inclusive in orientation. They are suitable for any setting and can be
adapted for a wide range of purposes. Programs are available locally,
nationally and internationally upon request.

What is the meaning of the name? Amber is a hardened plant resin
traditionally used by the ancients to assist with the healing process. The
Greeks first discovered the electrical properties of amber when rubbed with
cloth, and their word for amber -- elektron - led to the word
"electricity." Amber is warm to the touch, soft and sometimes
fragrant. Its golden-yellow color and basis as plant material connect amber
strongly to the sun. When light shines through amber, it glows warmly and
inspires relaxation and contentment.
Light is the basis of all things. Its radiance permeates space and reaches
to the end of the Universe. Light illuminates the inner and the outer
worlds.
Amber Light suggests a warm radiance, shining through the pliable medium of
the heart.
