The Muraqaba of Witness
The Muraqaba of
Witness
“He is always present (She is always present), and all atoms
bear witness to His divinity, for He is the witness and the witnessed.”
Or one may equally say, “She is always present, and all
atoms bear witness to Her divinity, for She is the witness and the witnessed.”
Presence. The Divine
is always present, always here and now.
And all atoms bear witness to the Divine Presence. The myriad, almost infinite atoms, the
infinitesimal, energetic charges, buzzing, swirling, revolving. In patterns of attraction and repulsion. Chaotic swirls, choreographies of energy,
pulsing, flaring, in remembrance, in witness.
The very life of energy is its act of bearing witness, its flaring, its
acquiescence to existence. Its signaling
with its very motion, with its very vibration, acknowledgment, tribute,
glorification to the One from which it emerges, to which it returns, whose life
it embodies. All that exists, composed
of energy, alive to the life of the Eternal.
Emblazoning its glory across the face of the void. Even when we
forget, even when our mind is veiled, lost in separation, the very substance of
our flesh, the particles of our cells, the components of our molecules are
dancing ecstatically in circles, glorifying the One. Bearing witness to the One who is always
present. So know Him, know Her, to be
present, they bear witness to His divinity, for He is the witness. It is in the
witnessing of every particle of creation that the One Being witnesses
itself. In every line of sight, in every
angle of vision, the seer is One Seer, and the seen is the very same, the One
who sees is the One who is seen. The muraqaba of the witness. Life witnessing itself through innumerable
gazes, but always the same glance.
