Dances of Universal Peace

Introduction

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous multicultural circle dances that use sacred phrases and chants from many traditions of the world.

The Dances are participatory with simple movements and melodies, taught in a welcoming atmosphere.

No experience is necessary. Old hands and newcomers form the circle together.

Dances are held in Rochester on the Second Saturday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Friends Meeting Hall, 84 Scio Street at the corner of Charlotte Street. Suggested donation $5.
