We represent the Sufi Order International in Rochester, New York, offering a variety of activities providing access to the Sufi Message of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan, the first Sufi teacher to bring Sufism to the West in 1910. These teachings may be considered the recognition of spiritual unity. Calling it "The Message in our time," Inayat Khan taught that humanity is ready to view the world's great religious traditions as messages given by the One God to different cultures at different times to develop human understanding and growth. Though he taught in the West only from 1910 to shortly before his death in 1927, Inayat Khan left a vast body of teachings. These are now carried forward in the Sufi Order International by his grandson,
